  1. I have loved having a look at your work! Such a pleasant experience for the eyes! Great designs, great colours. As a dance mum who also finds herself in the same situation you found yourself in once (except I have 3...) I was wondering if you could elaborate on when you've chosen to stitch the bodice to the net and when you've had the bodice sit on top of the tutu on a basque. I've not been able to find an answer to this on google and wonder if it's just personal choice or not. Thanks!

  2. Hi Julie thanks for the lovely comments. My tutus are all on stretch leotards and so the net is sewn directly on to the leotard in individual layers starting at the top layer. My very good friend makes exquisite tutus in stretch and occasionally non stretch. She teaches the art of tutu making and has made up a set of patterns and easy step by step guide to making stretch tutus. We also have another friend who specialises in non stretch tutus and has also made patterns with instructions. Both these talented ladies sell their patterns to the puplic.let me know if you are interested and I will put you on to them.
